John Lennon Shirt Sizing Guide

We know that 99% of customers understand that we only use authentic shirts and that those shirts have set sizes which were determined when produced by the U.S. Army. However, unfortunately there are a few plonkers out there who buy a shirt and then state that they want the shirt one inch bigger or smaller so that it fits them perfectly. We cannot alter the shirts for individual customers. They are set sizes!! Carefully read the sizing guideline and double check your measurements prior to ordering!! Simply put, if we do not have your size shirt available then do not order. Sorry for the rant, but you would be amazed with some of the customers we have to deal with. Hence, Returns on sizing issues of the John Lennon shirt will not be accepted.

John Lennon US Army Revolution Shirt features:

• Sergeant Chevrons on each arm

• American Army 2nd Infantry Indian Head patch above the Sergeant Chevron on the left arm

• US Army Imjin Scouts 2nd Infantry Patch on the right pocket breast

• REINHARDT Name Tape above the right chest pocket
• U.S. Army Name Tape above the left chest pocket

The Imjin Scouts patch is inscribed with DMZ which is the area where the unit patrols the Imjin river between North and South Korea. It stands for "demilitarized zone."

Some reports state that John Lennon was given the shirt by Reinhardt himself whilst others suggest that Lennon himself purchased the shirt from an army surplus store. Whatever the truth, Reinhardt was one hell of a lucky guy to have his shirt so adored by Lennon.

It is likely that Lennon wore the shirt in his own ironic take on the Vietnam War which was going on at the time. However, it should be noted that the "DMZ" shown on the Imjin Scouts patch refers to Korean War.
